    Our Founders

    NoVolleys was co-founded by pickleball-obsessed web entrepreneurs Bill Grinstead and Adam Small in 2023. As the sport gained in popularity and began maturing, the pair saw the need for a serious and dedicated pickleball industry news platform, and set out to produce top-tier journalism centered on the sport, along with honest and objective product recommendations.

    NoVolleys is the culmination of that effort, which we will continue to expand and improve upon as the sport evolves.

    Steve Blatt is an educator at heart with 31 years of teaching experience. He’s taught Pickleball to beginner and intermediate players in Costa Rica for several years, helping to seed the Pickleball movement in the Central Valley. He now resides in Bellevue, Washington, where he serves as the Pickleball Pro at Samena Swim and Recreation Club and represents Selkirk as an Advocate.
